Another wonderful day awaits us after our breakfast. We will paddle from Praia da Luz to Lagos, with a very special visit to the amazing caves of Ponta da Piedade in our kayaks. These high weathered sandstone cliffs of the Ponta da Piedade headland have been carved by the power of the Atlantic Ocean into arches, caves and grottos. We’ll be paddling past Dona Ana. Porto de Mos and Camilo beaches Again we’ll stop at a nice beach for a picnic lunch and arrive in Lagos about 16:00. 

We’ll start to paddle in Lagos and paddle past the long Meia Praia and continue past Tres Irmaos, Rocha and Portimão Beaches and then we’ll paddle up the Arade River to our take out in Portimão. Today we will have another wonderful picnic lunch on the beach and arrive in Portimão around 16:00 and return to our Quinta.

After leaving Portimão behind we will pass several beaches and many places where the sea has carved sea stacks, caves and arches. We’ll have time to explore these and find a great beach for lunch. We’ll pass the village of Carvoeiro and arrive at our take out in Armação de Pera at 16:00 and drive back to the Quinta.

Today is our last day on the water and we have to make the most of it. We’ll again paddle some very abrupt coast line and today we’ll have time to really explore. We will have our last picnic on the beach and continue on our exploring till we arrive at our take out in Albufeira . This afternoon evening you will have free till 8 pm for your final shopping and at 8:30 will have our celebration after a wonderful adventure on the Algarve coast.
